BCMEA
BCMEA runs the order entry system that port terminals across British Columbia rely on.
The system served one terminal and about 500 people. The business needed it to serve more than ten terminals and over 5,000 people, without slowing anyone down.
I was the architect on this project. I designed the platform, built key parts of it myself, and led the quality and release process that got it into production.
The platform went live in March 2026, two months ahead of schedule. It now runs across more than ten terminals and supports over 5,000 users on one consistent system.

MediaValet
MediaValet sells software that lets marketing and creative teams store, find and share their photos, videos and brand files from one secure place, built on Microsoft Azure.
The part of the product customers touched every day was built on an older foundation, and the company depended on an outside team for manual testing before every release.
I led the move of the customer facing product from Angular to React. I brought quality testing in house with Cypress and Selenium, helped connect cloud storage and databases for enterprise customers, and automated the build and release pipeline.
The modernization was a success and customers responded immediately. MediaValet's annual revenue grew 66% in 2 years, from C$10.84 million in 2021 to C$18 million in the 2023 fiscal year.

MonetizeMore
MonetizeMore helps website owners earn more from the ad space they already have, for hundreds of publishers in more than 40 countries, through a platform called PubGuru.
Publishers needed better visibility into their traffic and ad performance, and the team needed a fast way to prove a change worked before rolling it out to everyone.
I built TrafficCop, a real time traffic monitor, and an ad analytics tool for PubGuru. I tuned how ads loaded on publisher pages to cut down on disruptive page jumping, and built small scale tests so changes could be proven before they reached every publisher.
MonetizeMore's revenue grew from US$17 million to over US$20 million within a year.
